Building a custom home can be intimidating, but Josh made it incredibly simple and the final product was everything we wanted and more. During the planning process, he helped us troubleshoot everything ahead of time, which was very important to me. His guidance when it came to the quality of materials and function of the space is invaluable. Josh was on-site almost daily, ensuring every part of our dream home was done correctly. He is meticulous and willing to jump in and take over any tasks to ensure they're done right. His contractors do quality work and meet their deadlines, which helped ensure our home was done ahead of schedule and under budget. It’s rare to find builders and contractors that follow through, do what they say they’ll do, arrive on time and on days promised. Josh has a great eye for design and really knows his stuff. He took our ideas, made suggestions, kept the communication going during the project and it came out even BETTER than we imagined! His attention to detail really shows and the entire project was completed to the highest standards and on time. It was worth every penny! Crews were kind and respectful and cleaned up thoroughly every day. Upon project completions in the past I always have minor complaints or things they have to come back and fix (and we’ve been through a LOT of renovations) but I have no complaints with Josh and his team. It’s PERFECT!! As a decorator/designer Josh is my go-to for a General Contractor and I can always trust that he’ll come through and produce beautiful work and happy clients. I cannot thank Josh and his team enough for the craftsmanship, integrity, and professionalism. I had tile flooring, baseboards, and ceiling repairs completed. I needed my outdoor kitchen renovated and after calling several other companies in town with poor response and follow up, I finally called Abel Custom Deaigns. Josh and his team did an amazing job on the remodel of our master bathroom. He made sure everything came out exactly as I wanted and that everything was to perfection. The remodel made our small bathroom feel 10 times larger and even added some much needed storage space. His team did amazing work on rebuilding our indoor fireplace and redoing the kitchen island. Also painting the entire exterior house. ABEL Custom Build and Design should be everyone’s go to contractor for custom builds or renovations. We had kitchen renovations and painting as well as interior decorating done by Jodi Abel. Josh and Jodi walked us through the whole process, helping with the selection of colors, countertops, cupboards and ceiling design. They completed tasks when they said they would be completed. Honestly could not be happier with our renovations. Jodi’s an amazing interior decorator as well. She did my “she shed” room and it looks amazing.

Abel Custom Build and Design did amazing on our new home!!! Josh, owner, was on top of every single thing! Even after building the house we had some hail damage and he took care of everything! He is great at communicating with us and answering all of our questions- and we had A LOT as first-time home owners. He was there helping us anytime we needed, and there were many nights he was there WAY past business hours! He had great options for us and when we needed help choosing finishes he always seemed to know the right choice and everything turned out beautifully. We are SO GLAD Josh built our house!!

We used Josh Abel for new construction on an outside Pergola along with a remodel project inside our home. Josh stressed “Communication” as a trait he focussed on, which in large part is why he and his company were selected. He did not disappoint as it relates to communication; he makes himself very accessible. Josh was on time when he said he would arrive and was on the job every day. He appears to have a good rapport with the trades he uses and is loyal to. As with every project, things happen and when something was not right, Josh had no problem saying, “we will get that fixed.” There were even areas on the architectural plans that Josh questioned, which some warranted an on the fly change. We trusted Josh fully. He was given a key to our home and had full access, although he was always respectful and communicated before entry. He kept the place clean and expected the same from the trades used. I would use Josh Abel again.

My husband and I wanted a grilling station and a tongue and groove ceiling installed on back covered patio. Josh Abel came to our home at the time he stated and we spent time explaining what we wanted. Josh was very receptive to our plans and even offer some suggestions that were in line with what we were looking forward to. We accepted Josh's bid and he kept us informed of the status everyday including when material and his crews would be at our home. He matched the brick perfectly to our home, and when it came time for the granite, he suggested two different companies that he dealt with and they also were very cooperative with what I wanted. During the entire process Josh and his crews were very polite, professional and informative on a daily basis. We would have no second thoughts of hiring Josh and his company to handle any and all improvements to our home in the future. Great company to deal with and more importantly a great person to deal with any remodeling project to our home. I look forward to coming up with more ideas, but don't tell my husband.
